We are no strangers to handling oversized and time-sensitive cargo. A prime example is the transport of three massive crates, each measuring approximately 10 meters in length, to Cairo. The challenge lay in finding the fastest and most efficient way to move these unusually large items while guaranteeing safe handling at every step. With our smart multimodal logistics approach, we made it happen.

The journey began at Schiphol in the Netherlands, where the crates were prepared for departure. Their sheer size required careful planning, precise coordination, and specialized handling equipment. To achieve swift delivery, we combined road and air transport. First, the crates were carefully transferred by road to Belgium, where the best air freight connection was available. From there, they were loaded securely and transported by air to Cairo. This multimodal solution enabled us to balance speed, efficiency, and safety - three core elements in every BTS project.

The final destination was Cairo, Egypt, where the crates arrived on time and in perfect condition. A classic Ferrari on its way to Kuwait

One of our recent projects involved transporting a classic Ferrari, sold by our customer to a passionate car collector in Kuwait. Our role was to ensure that this valuable vehicle made its way from the Netherlands to its new owner safely, efficiently, and without complications.

The journey began in the Netherlands, where our customer delivered the Ferrari in a closed trailer to our office at Schiphol. There, the necessary paperwork was collected, and one of our trusted Schiphol couriers escorted the vehicle to the airline’s ground handling agent. The Ferrari was carefully driven onto a PMC aircraft pallet, its battery was disconnected, and the ground crew secured the car with professional strapping over the wheels, ensuring stability throughout its journey.
Shipping
For this project, BTS Logistics was responsible for arranging the air freight from Schiphol to Kuwait. The car was first trucked from Schiphol to Luxembourg, where it was loaded onto a direct flight to Kuwait International Airport (KWI). By combining secure ground transport with our reliable air freight network, we guaranteed that the Ferrari was shipped under the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Final destination
The final destination for this exceptional shipment was Kuwait International Airport. Upon arrival, the customer arranged the customs clearance and organized the further transport of the Ferrari to their private facility.
