We welcomed the team behind Servo7 (YC W26) to our warehouse, where we provided the space and a container to test their unloading robot in a real logistics environment.
The concept is designed to combine robotics with human expertise: the robot unloads loose-loaded boxes from the container and places them onto a conveyor. As the technology develops, the next step could be to automate the palletizing stage as well, creating a more integrated inbound process.
Together, these developments could reduce the physical demands of container handling, support a more consistent flow and make inbound operations less dependent on the availability of unloading crews.
