No more bookings for Asia-Europe transport

No more bookings for Asia-Europe transport, at least for now…

The time has come, what we all might have seen coming but did not want it to be reality; the ships are full. CMA CGM has informed its customers that they will not accept bookings for the transport of containers from Asia to Northern Europe in week 49, 50 and 51.

CMA CGM’s decision seems to be related to the enormous shortage of containers, especially in China. So far, they are the only ones of the major carriers who have announced a booking stop.
